Funeral services for Howard Burley Allman, 90, of Rt. 3, Elizabeth who died at Worthington Manor Wednesday evening, were held Saturday at the Slate Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Merrill Chapel. He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Levi and Catherine Amanda Kelley Allman. He was a member of the Slate Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Clegg Allman; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Somerville of Slate, and Mrs. Helen Moore, of Rockport; one brother, Early Allman, of Elizabeth; one sister, Mrs. Inez Saffels, of Akron; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchilden. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
