Sarah E. Dunn, who grew up in Franklin County, KS, was married to Albert D. Lemons on Jan. 7, 1877. To this union were born five children; Lennna, Cynthia, Nellie, George and Frank. Mr. Lemons preceded her in death (June 25, 1896), as did one daghter, Lenna. She professed Christianity at the age of sixteen, later joining the Methodist Church. She was married to J. A. Dunn Aug. 24th, 1920 at Arapaho, where they made their home.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Cynthis Likes, Arapaho and Mrs. Doss Crawford, Watonga; two sons; George Lemons of Custer City and Frank Lemons, Earlsboro; one brother, J. F. Bledsoe, Maud and Mrs. Ella Jones, whom she raised from a girl,
Funeral services were held at the Arapaho Methodist Church by the Rev. Kerran, pastor of the Eakley Methodist Church and interment was in the Arapaho Cemetery.
