Virginia Sloop Cranford, 89, of Mooresville, died on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Born in Iredell Cou-nty, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Elsie Dingler Sloop. Her husband, Homer Cranford, died in September 2008. Survivors include dau-ghter, Patsy C. Reid and husband, John, of Moor-esville; three grandchildren; three great-grand-children; two great-great -grandchildren; and sister Peggy Thompson and husband, Lamont, of Mooresville. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15 at Glen-wood Memorial Park with Rev. JoAnne Hull officiating Visitation will be held following the service.
