Audrey Ann Dudley Boutwell, 80, retired Texas Parks and Wildlife Supervisor passed away peacefully Thursday, May 16, 2013. Audie was born the fourth of six children to Drebon Desmond Dudley and Annie Mae Faber Dudley in Tecula, Texas on February 16, 1933. She grew up in East Texas and then moved with her family to Austin, Texas, where she graduated from Austin High. Audrey and Morris spent most of their life together in Elgin, Texas. After Morris' death and declining health, she moved to Marble Falls to be near her sister Donna. She lived four years at Gateway Villa in Marble Falls where she made many wonderful friends. After moving to Marble Falls, she became a faithful member of the Spicewood Baptist Church, where her passions were supporting the youth group and the ladies of The Friendship Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Boutwell; both her parents; two brothers, James and Louie Dudley; two sisters, Margaret Burchard and Shirley Polk; and nephew, Clifford Polk.

She is survived by her son, Frank Cromeans and wife Jo; three step-sons, Randy Boutwell and wife Denise, Scott Boutwell, and Brad Boutwell; seven grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; one sister, Donna and husband Willis "Penny Bill" Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to nephew, James Lewis and wife Jeannie for making Audie part of their Hill Country family, her three nieces, Fran, Belva, and Putt for the special dinners and laughter. The friends that visited regularly and made her day brighter will always be remembered.

A funeral service will be conducted graveside at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731, on Saturday, May 18th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Walt Silveria officiating
