BIELECKI, E'Lane Lee Passed away at home in Rohnert Park on September 6, 2011, surrounded by her family. Dearly beloved wife of 57 years of Edward Bielecki of Rohnert Park; loving mother of Lynda Bielecki , Michael Bielecki and his wife Eileen; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. E'Lane was born in Lansing, MI on July 17, 1929 to William and Hilma Space, who preceded her in death as did her siblings, JoAnne, Bede, Victor, Paul and Bill, she was the last surviving sibling. E'Lane graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, where she played the snare drum in the marching band, and later attended Michigan State University for two years before joining the Women's Army Corp during the Korean Conflict, where she was a Corporal. She was stationed at Ft. Lee, VA and later Ft Dix, NJ where she met her husband Ed. After her children were born they moved to Irvington, NJ. She was very active in her children's school serving on various PTA committees and in the class room. In 1965 the family moved to Ross where she worked in the transportation department at the Presidio. In 1973 they moved to Denver, CO, where she continued to work for the US Government at Rocky Mountain Arsenal. In 1977 they returned to California and moved to Sonoma County in 1989. She retired from Civil Service in 1990 and volunteered with the Council on Aging. She enjoyed reading and her water aerobics class at the gym. Family was very important to her and during her twenty year illness; she always remained positive, upbeat and always looked forward, never back. She was someone you could depend on and her family loved her very much and was proud to call her wife and mom. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati. Private inurnment at Sacramento Valley Cemetery, Dixon. If desired donations in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation , 5005 LBJ Freeway, #250, Dallas, TX 75244.
