Eva was the daughter of Absalom Roy Hulen & Docie (Hicks) Hulen.
She married first to Lester Lair in Boone Co., AR on Sep 16, 1903. It is said that he died when they were only married 2 years.
Her second marriage was to J. J. Blackwell on Mar 11, 1907 also in Boone Co., AR. Around 1908 they were in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, where their only child, Marguerite Blackwell was born.
Some unfortunate incident must have befallen her husband because he inexplicably disappeared and was never heard from again.
On the 1920 & 1930 New Mexico census, she is with her elderly father and daughter, and around 1935 she moved over to Tucson, AZ where she lived the rest of her life.
