"Fannie", as she was commonly known, married Eli Arrington, son of Thomas Arrington and Sebitha Bell, on 24 Dec 1847 in Haywood County, NC. Bondsman: John M. McGee.

Five children would be born to this union:
(1) Sarah Melissa Arrington-Cope, 1850-1918
(2) Laura M. Arrington-Sanford, 1852-?
(3) Rev. James Robert Arrington, 1853-1927
(4) Rev. Thomas Franklin Arrington, 1854-1937
(5) Mira J. Arrington, 1860-?

Fannie died sometime after the birth of their last child, Mira J. Arrington in 1860. By 1870 her husband, Eli is listed in the home of his brother, John Arrington and his second wife, Rachel Johnson Arrington in Waynesville, Haywood County, NC. He is widowed and is a carpenter.

In the June 1900 Macon County Census, Eli is listed as widowed and is living in the home of his daughter, Sarah Melissa Arrington Cope and her husband, George Walton Cope. He is 76-years of age.

It is "said" that Eli would move with his brother, John and his wife Rachel to Lewis County, Washington; but no records have been found to confirm this.
