Jean Elaine Abbott 12.3, 1929 - 8. 30, 2011 Resident of Martinez Born Dec. 3, 1929 to parents Frank and Martha Fogde in Coos Bay Oregon, Jean passed away peacefully in her home in Martinez Aug. 30 2011. She enjoyed her motor home trips with her husband Earl for many years. She loved the holidays and enjoyed shopping for her grandchildren's Christmas presents which was usually a year- long process. Christmas morning was her favorite day every year. Married to husband Earl Abbott for 59 years until his passing in 2007, she also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Selena Abbott-Rainsbarger. Jean is survived by: children, Craig of Nevada City, Russell (Donna) of Martinez, Sharon England (Greg) of Martinez; grandchildren, Heather and Ben England and Brianne and Tyler Abbott. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charities. Graveside services at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Memory Garden Memorial Park, 2011 Arnold Industrial Highway, Concord.
