I really believe Mary's obituary is a big misprint. It says she is Mrs. William Anthony, when in fact she is Williams daughter. I know this because all her siblings are the children of William and Mary Elizabeth Benner Anthony, her parents.

Mary's obituary as it appears in the paper;

PARKER PHOENIX 25 October 1918 page 4

MARY LUCILLE ANTHONY

Mrs. William Anthony, died at the family home in Bennertown, Monday evening last, after a brief illness with pneumonia.

The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. W. Robinson. The remains were laid in the Presbyterian Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her mother and the following brothers and sisters: C.C. Anthony, Punxsutawney; Mrs. G. W. Garris, Lawsonham; W. S.Anthony, McDonald; Mrs. J.P. Bickle,Parker; Mrs. C. Johns, Red Bank; Mrs. L. Schaffer, Evans City; G.J. Anthony, Ligonier; Mrs. H.R. McGregor, Pittsburgh; Mrs. J.H. Danko, Pittsburg, and Gay Anthony at home.

Lucille had been a patient sufferer all her life and to be at rest could not ---but come as a blessing in disguise. During all the years her mother cared for her constantly and tenderly as only a mother can care for her ---n.

AND if you look at her headstone the year of her death appears to be 1818, only it is 1918.
