In 1875, Alabama, then 19 years old, is living with her family in Lyon County, Minnesota. Her parents are David and Ann Clark and her siblings are: Henrietta, Owen, Carrie and O.E. (David Elmer, listed as Elmer on 1880 census).
On December 5, 1875, in Lyon County, Allie marries Charles M. Bastian and in 1880 is living in Lake Marshall with her husband and young sons Frank A., 3, and Ernest, 2, and cousin Louis (Ludwig), 21, her husband's uncle Henry's son.
By 1883, Carl and his family are in New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota, where he dies. Allie and their sons, as evinced by the 1885 territorial census, have moved in with her parents and siblings in Sodue, Lyon County, Minnesota.
Allie then marries one John Sederstrom around 1886 and in 1900 are living in Spring Valley, Clark County, South Dakota. It notes on that census that Allie had a total of five children, two of which are living. Her second husband John was born around 1859 in Sweden who had emigrated to the United States in 1868 and was a farmer. In 1900, Allie and John lived very near the Morey family, whose daughter Minerva married one of Allie's sons, Frank.
Allie died sometime before 1910. In that federal census, her husband John is listed as widowed and living with his son Melvin L. Sederstrom, 27, born in South Dakota, in Dayton, Lincoln County, South Dakota.
