Wounded at Hatcher's Run VA Apr. 5, 1865. Sent to Richmond Va hospital. Pension records show he was sent home on wounded furlough Apr.9, 1865. He served with 60th Reg. Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Evans Brigade, Company A. Born 1847 in Houston County, Ga, died in Bibb County, Ga (Macon) Sept 4, 1927. He was married to Katherine Grimes Stevens Holt on Jan. 29, 1879. Three children, Miles Fowler Holt,Sr., Mildred Holt Williams, and Albert Sharp Holt,Sr.
