William L. Adkisson, 63, of Greeley, CO died Friday, January 23, 1976 at his home.

He was born November 3, 1912 in Renick, MO to Jessie and Betty (Cowden) Adkisson. On August 20, 1934 he married Ruby L. Stark in Greeley. She died October 26, 1966.

William came to Milliken with his parents in 1929 where they famed. He continued farming in the Johnstown-Milliken and La Salle areas until 1951. He worked for Great Western Sugar Company in Johnstown as a mechanic for 18 years, retiring in 1969 due to his health. He moved to Greeley where he had resided ever since.

He was a member of the Harvest Time Tabernacle Church in Evans, CO.

Survivors are three daughters, Edna Masser, Sharon Gurney, Joyce Adkisson; a son, Kenneth Adkisson, all of Greeley6; his mother, Betty Adkisson of Milliken; a brother, Estil Adkisson of Milliken; and a sister, Beulah Mitchell of Denver, CO.

He is preceded in death by one sister.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 1976 at Adamson Memorial Chapel followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brought to you by: Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services
