Mae Adams, 94, of Mouth of Wilson, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Ashe Living Center, Jefferson, N.C.
She was the widow of Harrison Adams.
She was born June 12, 1906, in Piney Creek, N.C., to Frank and Melissa Moxley Hill.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, H.P. and Musetta Adams, Charles and Judy Adams and Donald Joe and Sue Adams, all of Mouth of Wilson, and Dean and Louise Adams of Piney Creek, N.C.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean and Jack Wagg and Ruth Smith, all of Mouth of Wilson, and Anna Mae and Gerald Henderson of Troutdale; a sister-in-law, Pearl Hill of Mouth of Wilson; 15 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Sunday at Grassy Creek Baptist Church, Grassy Creek, N.C., with burial in the Grassy Creek Cemetery. The Revs. Warner Eller, Reeves Jones and Johnn Huffman officiated.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
