Mrs. Oscar Banister died Friday evening of blood poisoning after a brief sickness. A husband and three children survive. The funeral was held from the home Sunday afternoon, by Rev. Shultz. Burial is Riverside. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Scott and was born in Decatur County October 27, 1882. She was married to Oscar Bannister July 6, 1899 and was a devoted wife and mother. Aside from her family, she is survived by father, mother, three brothers, one sister and a host of friends. Her age was 24 years, 6 months and 27 days. Published in THE CAMBRIDGE CITY TRIBUE on Tuesday, May 2, 1907.
