Mrs. Marjorie Powell Pendleton age 79 of Bradshaw Road passed away at 7:53 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pendleton was born June 18, 1931 in Adams, TN the daughter of the late Jessie Hayden and Lavela Mitchell Powell. She was a bookkeeper for Westate Construction and a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, James "Buddy" Powell and Eugene "Stooge" Powell; one sister, Marguerite Dalrymple.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Preston Pendleton of Hopkinsville; two sons, Scott Pendleton of Hopkinsville and Gary Pendleton of Pembroke, KY; one daughter, Penny Jo Blane of Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren, John Preston Blane, Alex Blane, Griffin Blane, Kelsey Pendleton, Katlin Pendleton, Kennedy Pendleton, Keegan Pendleton, Austin Pendleton and Zoe Pendleton; two great grandchildren, Anna Blane and Cate Blane.
