Milton C. Boik of Traverse City, formerly of Dighton, died Monday, March 19, 2001 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. He was 61.
Mr. Boik was born July 26, 1939 in Wyandotte to Ferdinand and Dorine (Treganza) Boik. He married Wilma I. (Fewless) Moomey Jan. 16, 1965 in Taylor, MI.
Mr. Boik served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company for 31 years. Mr. Boik was a member of St. Michaels Lutheran Church in Traverse City. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling, gardening and taking care of his flowers. He loved music and playing his saxophone. He especially liked to spend time dancing with his granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Traverse City; children, Paula (William) Hagen of Traverse City and Scott (Cher) Boik of Cadillac; stepmother, Stella Boik of Traverse City; sister, Carol Cieslar of Sun City West, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Boik and Brooke and Allison Hagen.
