*On Jan 22,1778 he married Elizabeth Frary the daughter of Captain Nathan Frary and Elizabeth Barnard. Elizabeth Frary was born Jan 23,1778. Her house on "Old Hill" burned down on October 27, 1818 only 5 years after Dr Childs died and his Widow Childs then moved to Mount Morris,NY to live with her son Dr.Ebenezer and Alvira Long Childs. Elizabeth Frary Childs died at Mount Morris,NY on Dec.15,1834.
