ALLEN, Vivian, passed away gracefully and at peace in her home early Good Friday morning, April 22, 2011.
She was born October 6, 1915 and is predeceased by her beloved husband, Jesse. Jesse and Vivian lived many years in Nogales, AZ where Jesse, a noted Republican State Legislator, operated the local cable company and Vivian worked for Valley National Bank. Upon Jesse's retirement, the Allen's moved to Tucson. Vivian was a generous patron of the Tucson Museum of Art, an avid supporter of the Humane Society of Tucson and served on the Board of Hostesses for the Silver and Turquoise Ball. Vivian will be remembered for her impeccable style, her love of animals and as a devoted friend and neighbor. Her beautiful bearded Irises were a cherished gift to many of her neighbors each spring.
A gathering in Vivian's memory will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at the home of Susie and Steve Christy for directions call 885-1967. Jesse is finally reunited with his beautiful Satin Doll.
