Mrs. Marjorie J. Beyers, 62, wife of Bracel "Epie" Beyers, 1228 J Street, Bedford, died at 5:15 a.m. today, March 18, 1975, at the Bloomington Hospital where she was admitted February 23. She had been in failing health several years.
She was born July 23, 1912, in Bedford, the daughter of William and Clara Anderson Yeskie. She married Bracel Beyers May 31, 1931 and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Billy, at home; the mother, Mrs. Clara Ball of Bedford; three sisters, Mrs. Lilliam Lemon of Bedford, Mrs. Rhea Dawn Ross of Bedford, and Mrs. Jerry (Ruth) Gregory of Indianapolis. A son, Byron Dean, preceded her in death April 17, 1969.
Mrs. Beyers was a member of the First Assembly of God Church where she was very active in church activities. She also was a member of the P.T.A. and the Gideons Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Rev. E. J. Bruton officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. this evening.
