JOHN E. KISER
Dies In Hospital; Services Tuesday
John Edwin Kiser, 48. of 705 West South Street, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 8 p.m. Friday in Wilson Memorial Hospital after only a four hour illness. He had worked all day Friday.
Mr. Kiser, handicapped since boyhood and forced to use crutches, was employed by the Flex-0-Line Co. working in his home which he shared with his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Kiser.
He was a member of St Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church and active in its men's brotherhood.
Born at Houston on April 29, 1907, he was the son of Daniel G. and Kathryn Millhoff Kiser. His father died in 1946.
Surviving with his mother are three sisters and a brother, Mrs. J. Walter (Betty) Beaman, Louisville KY; Mrs. Norman (Velma) Chenoweth, St. Louis MO; Mrs. Robert (Pat) Hodge, Sidney, and Fran L. Kiser, Phoenix, Arizona.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him i death-Charles in 1953, Mable Brentlinger in 1942 and George in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St Paul's church with Rev George Sonneborn in charge. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery, near Swanders. Friends may call anytime after Sunday noon at the Cromes and Sons Funeral Home.
