Rites In Mtn. View For Mrs. T.L. Battles
Mrs. T.L. Battles, for many years a resident of the Mountain View community, died early Friday evening at a Carnegie hospital. She had been in failing health for a long time.
Funeral services were held at the Mountain View Baptist church at 2 p.m. Sunday and burial was made in the Roosevelt cemetery. Rev. George, Baptist pastor from Hobart, conducted the service.
Survivors include her sons, Earl Battles, Duncan and Bennie battles of Oklahoma City, of her immediate family and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Leonard of this place attended the service Sunday.
