OSCEOLA - ADA B. ALLENSWORTH
OSCEOLA - Ada B. Allensworth, 80, of Hazel Park, Mich., formerly of Osceola, anesthetist, died Tuesday of congestive heart failure at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home with burial in Ermen Cemetery.
She was a member of American Medical Technologists and the American Nurses Association. She was a life member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She had been awarded a Key to the City of Memphis by former mayor Henry Loeb for her work as chairman of the Mid-South States in Field of Anesthesia. She was a member of the advisory board of George W. Jackson Mental Health Center of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Allensworth, the widow of George Allensworth, leaves two sons, Sam Allensworth of Hazel Park and John Allensworth of Memphis; two stepsons, George Edward Allensworth of Horn Lake, Miss., and David Allensworth of Bridge City, Texas; a brother, Ray Bolinger of Pennsylvania, 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
