Born in Allegan, Michigan, Mrs. Baker came to Marysville with her husband and family in 1909, the family home being made east of town on the Sunnyside road where they farmed a twenty-acre tract. Mr. Baker passed away in October of 1949.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Ina Stanton, Mrs. Neva Danner of Quincy, and Miss Vina Baker at home; one son, Leon of route one; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Friendship club and had many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Schaefer Funeral Home with the Rev. H.G. Luscombe officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery.
