Eileen Booton

Eileen F. Booton, 83, of Milan, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at her residence.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Mrs. Booton was born June 11, 1924, in Milan, the daughter of Benjamin and Irene Kimbel Hodson. She married Vernon Booton June 30, 1945, in Milan.

Along with being a homemaker, Eileen enjoyed sewing, reading and working with ceramics.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Booton, Milan; daughters, Vicki Babinski, Rock Island, and Deborah Schneckloth, Coal Valley; grandsons and their spouses, Jeffrey and Tricia Babinski, Michael and Brooke Babinski, Brian and Sophia Schneckloth; five great-grandchildren; brother and his spouse, Carl and Mary Hodson, Rock Island; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Benny Hodson; and son-in-law, Keith Schneckloth.
