Mary E. (Senno) Aissis, 88, of Brook Street,Seekonk passed away peacefully at home with her family around her on Friday, September 22. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Thomas M. Aissis. Dr. and Mrs. Aissis celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this past April 29.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Siek) Senno, she had lived in Seekonk for the past 50 years. She was very devoted to her family.
Mrs. Aissis was the receptionist in her husband�s dental office before retiring.
She was a communicant of the Church of St. Basil the Great, Lincoln.
She was a graduate of Central Falls High School and a member of Pawtucket Country Club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Jackson of Pawtucket; a son, Thomas J. Aissis and his wife, Nancy of Smithfield; 3 grandchildren, Kristen Lane and her husband, Raymond of Smithfield, Jodi Cabral and her husband, Joseph of Rumford and Christopher Jackson of Pawtucket; 3 great grandchildren, Katelyn and Ryan Lane, both of Smithfield and Meghan Cabral of Rumford; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Senno.
The funeral will be held Monday September 25, from the BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Basil the Great, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland.
