Mr. Anderson was a member of the Spiceland Methodist Church and was active in the Methodist Mens Club. He was a graduate of Spiceland Academy and a farmer for several years. After retiring from farming he worked for 17 years as a machinist at Western Products retiring at the age of 78.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December, 1961. Surviving are wife Callie Mae Anderson: two sons Donald H. Anderson of Rushville and George F. Anderson of Indianapolis; five daughters, Mrs. Eloise Reece of Muncie, and Mrs. Annabel Riley of Union City, R. 4,, Mrs. Doris Liggett of Indianapolis, Mrs. Athleen Cook of New Castle and Mrs. Lois McLaughlin of Greensburg; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Conwell of Muncie, one niece and one nephew, 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
