Charles L. "Chuck" Coffey, 74, Clayton, died Thursday at his residence.
Born Aug. 9, 1930 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Leonard and Mary Love Coffey.
He was a supervisor for Allison Division of General Motors, Transmission Division, retiring in 1982 after 31 years. He was a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church.
He married Mary Ann O'Neal, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Bill Coffey and wife Linda, Frankton, Bob Coffey and wife Sue, Coatesville, and Dennis Coffey, Westfield; two daughters, Linda Mantooth and husband Ralph, Danville, and Diana Bates and husband Allen, Greenwood; a sister, Eileen Thompson, Tell City; a brother, Donald E. Coffey Sr., Brownsburg; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at noon Saturday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, where visitation will be 10 a.m. until noon Saturday.
Burial will be in Coatesville Cemetery.
