Services Saturday for Ventura Girl
Services for Carrie Lee Fawver, 18, of 6087 Fiesta St., Ventura, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Ted Mayr Loma Vista Chapel, Ventura. Pastor Kenneth Criswell officiating. Entombment will follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
Miss Fawver died Tuesday evening at County General Hospital, Ventura, of head injuries suffered in an auto accident Monday morning in Ventura.
Born Feb. 16, 1957, in Ventura, Miss Fawver was a lifelong resident of the city. She attended Poinsettia Elementary School and Balboa Junior High School and graduated from Buena High this year.
Since April she had worked as a cashier at Lumber City in Ventura. A fellow employee there called her "One of the sweetest girls we've ever had... we all loved her."
Survivors include her father, Arthur Lee Fawver, and brother Gary, both of the Ventura home; her aunt, Evelyn (Fawver) Newman, of Ventura, who raised Miss Fawver; mother, Mrs. June Biers of Orange County, and grandmother, Mrs. Lillian S. Fawver of Ventura.
