Christopher Davis, 26, of Rome, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at Rome Memorial Hospital. Born May 16, 1983 in Rome, he was a son of Mark Sr. and Deborah Sherwood Davis. Christopher attended Rome schools and had been employed as a ride operator for Hawkins Amusement Rides.
Surviving are his mother, Deborah Sochia, and his father, Mark Davis Sr., both of Rome; a daughter, Cameron Davis, Sylvan Beach; two sisters, Amy and Todd Hebert, Texas, Brittany Davis, Rome; four brothers, Mark Davis Jr., Sherrill, Jason Davis, Tupper Lake, Aaron Sochia and James DeLong, both of Rome. He was predeceased by a son, Thomas.
A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Strong and Burns Funeral Home, 401 N. George St. There are no calling hours.
