Marion was the daughter of Harmonia Frances Carey and Horace R. Collins; sister of Alburton and Ella; mother of Caleb, Henry, and Alton Blake; and wife of Arthur Ellis Blake until his death in 1918. They married in Battleboro, Vermont on 23 July 1879. On 4 July 1920, Marion married George Clifford Haskins in Taunton. Both residents of Somerset then, she was his third wife and he was divorced at the time. (She is noted as his wife "Mariam F." on his cemetery stone, but she is not buried with him.
