Edward G. Arment was a Union Soldier in Company A 133rd Indiana Infantry.

He was the son of George W. and Sarah B. Arment.

He was the husband of Hattie L. Arment.

PIONEER OF IDAHO DIES AT HOME HERE

Edward G. Arment Went to Coeur d'Alene ibn 1883 Settled in Wallace.

Edward G. Arment, one of the early pioneers of this country, who is widely known throughout the Coeur d'Alenes, died last night at his home at W2806 Sharp avenue from heart trouble.
Mr. Arment was in his usual health up to last Monday. He was 68 yers old and is survived by his wife and their daughter, Mrs. Nellie Camp of this city.
Mr. Arment went to the Coeur d'Alenes with the miners and settlers in 1883, the family being the fifth one to settle in Wallace. In recent years the family moved to Spokane.
Mr. Arment was a member of the G.A.R. and of the Elks' lodge at Wallace. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
