Funeral services for Lillian May AUCUTT, 62, of southwest of Novelty, will be held at 10:30 Tuesday morning (15 Oct 1in Hudson-Rimer Funeral, Edina. The Rev. Albert E McElfresh of Trenton will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Eucebia Cemetery southwest of Novelty.
Mrs. AUCUTT died at six o'clock Saturday evening (12 Oct 1985) in the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia.
Born 02 May 1923 in Kansas City, she was the daughter of Harry and Helen Margarett PRUETT MORTON. On 24 March 1946 at Baring she was married to William F AUCUTT who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs Denis (Dorothy) HOWARD of Novelty and Mrs. Barry (JoAnn) DELO of Russellville; three grandsons and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her father on 14 Jan 1966; her mother on 28 August 1983 and one son Paul William AUCUTT in 1955.
Mrs. AUCUTT became an ordained minister in 1964 and worked with young people. She reared 18 foster teenagers in her home.
From 1942 until 1946 she was employed with Gambles Store in Edina. For several years, Mrs AUCUTT served as secretary of the Knox County Ministerail Alliance, resigning the position in Jul of 1984 due to ill health.
Mrs. AUCUTT was a member of the Eucebia Church southwest of Novelty.
