Henry Ferdinand Borth, 92, Route 2, Mosinee, died Thursday, April 20 at the Family Heritage Nursing Home, Schofield.

He was born May 15, 1885 in Dancy to Gustave Borth and the former Johanna Schallow. He married the former Annie Berk on July 4, 1913 in Mosinee.

Mr. Borth threshed throughout the Dancy and Eau Pleine areas for many years with the Borth threshing crew. In 1913 he worked for the Land Log and Timber Copany under the former Howard Dessert. In 1918 he and his brother Herman operated a sawmill in Halder. In 1921 they sold the mill and he, his wife and family moved to Mosinee where he worked as a millwright at the Mosinee Paper Mills until 1955 when he retired.

He is survived by his widow; two sons, Earl, 706 Fifth St., Mosinee, and Ray, 114 N. Ninth Ave., Wausau. Mrs. James (Belvia) Debalske, 416 Eighth Ave. South, Wausau; and Mrs. Merlin (Ruby) Sparby, 714 Ninth St., Mosinee; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A son, Vernon, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 22 at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee, of which Mr. Borth was a member. Rev. Mark Schienner officiated. Burial was in the Mosinee Cemetery. A private visitation service was held for relatives and family members.

Pallbearers were Vernon Borth, Dennis Debalske, Edward Wilk, Frank and William Bloom and David Dalton.
