Miss. Nettie Browder Is Dead at Age of 60
Mrs. Nettie Finnell Browder, 60, wife of Winston I. Browder and an employed of Dixie Yarn Inc., for the pass 35 years, died in a hospital here Monday morning.
A native of Chattanooga, she had lived in the Ridgedale community for the past 59 years. She was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church and the Faithful Worker Sunday School Class. Her parents were the late Thomas J. and Nannie Wheat Finnell.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mer. John Spain Chattanooga; a grandson, John Kenneth Spain, Chattanooga; one brother, Britton Finnell, Chattanooga, and two sisters, Mrs. Tom Spencer and Mrs. Elmer Hunt, both of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Edgewood Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hull, the Rev. Edd Kelley and the Rev. Fred Gregg officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The body is at Turner Funeral Home.
