Alexander, Dorothy Haworth – age 73 of Blaine died peacefully at her home after a long illness. Dorothy was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, and always loved her church family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was known for her love of cooking and her generosity toward others. She retired after 21 years of service with Rittenhouse Paper leaving behind many good friends there.

Preceded in death by parents; Louis and Leila Haworth; sister, Wanda Bono; brother, Bobby Haworth; son-in-law, Bobby Carroll; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Janice Alexander.

Survived by loving husband of 52 years, Robert Alexander; loving children, Robbin Lee and husband Roger, Ten-Ten Alexander Carroll, Becky Lusk and husband Rick, Bobby Alexander and wife Jessica; precious grandchildren, David, Ghippi,and Ryan Lee, Erica, and Monica Lusk, Devan and Doltan Alexander; great grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, and Landon; brothers, William Haworth, Joe Haworth and wife Margaret, Arville Haworth and wife Sandy; sisters, Margie Ramsey, Ruby Smith, Shirley Kitts and husband Leon, Pauline and Sue Haworth; brothers-in-law, David and John Alexander; sisters-in-law, Ades and Wanda Alexander.

Funeral services at 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Goins and Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Thursday at Indian Ridge Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.

Pallbearers: Ricky Lusk, David Lee, Ryan Lee, Roger Lee, Greg Haworth, and Kenny Haworth.
