Billy (Butch) Wayne Abramski of Willis, Texas, born August 2, 1954 in Conroe, Texas to William (Gabby) and Ruth Abramski went to the Lord peacefully on June 1, 2013 at the age of 58.

In his early years, he was a carpenter by trade and worked at Sam Houston State University. Currently, he was employed at GEO as a correctional officer.

He was a loving dad, PawPaw, brother and uncle whose witty personality and giving nature will be missed beyond belief.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, William Franklin. He is survived by his family: son, Brian and wife Brigett and grandson Caiden; son, Blake and granddaughter Ryah; mother, Ruth Abramski; brothers, Bobby and wife Darlene, Charles and wife Earlene; sisters, Patti and husband James, and Carolyn; nephews: Jason, Cody and wife Candace, and Tyler; niece: Leanna; great niece Mylie Abramski; extended family: Eva Hodges and daughter Lacee, Ashley Gaffney, and Whitney McCullough; as well as, numerous family and friends.

A funeral service celebrating Butch's life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, New Waverly, Texas. Burial services will be held at Shepard Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis and memorial condolences for the family may be made at www.shmfh.com.
