Edith Alexander, 81, of Burgettstown, died Thursday, January 12, 1984, in the Braddock General Hospital.
She was born January 26, 1902, in Turtle Creek, a daughter of John and Louisa Ludwig Tacker.
She was a member of the Langeloth Community church, order of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine and the Burgettstown Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs John (Katherine) Pirih of Langeloth and Lydia Alexander of Turtle Creek, two sons, Walter of Glen Rock and Alfred of Burgettstown; two brothers, Huston Tacker of Turtle Creek and Walter Rainey of Irwin; a sister, Alice Troyer of Florida; 16 grand-children; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Earl S, died in 1963. Also deceased are two sons, Earl, who died in 1980, and Warren who died in 1943.
