Funeral services for Dale R. "Happy" Chandler, 64, of Jeffersonville, were held at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in the Chapel of the Cross at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Thursday, Feb. 14, with his family by his side.

Dale was born March 3, 1948, in New Albany, to the late Edmond and Vivian G. Knoy Chandler. He was a former employee of Jeff Boat before joining Caldwell Tanks in Louisville, for the last 25 years. He was a 1966 graduate of New Albany High School and was an avid baseball player and enthusiast. "Happy" was an integral part of the New Albany Little League organization as a coach, volunteer and former board member. Most of all, he loved baseball and watching his grandchildren play was the highlight of his life. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and many friends. Especially his beloved chocolate lab Molly.

Survivors include his wife, children and grandchildren.
