William M. BAKER was the son of Titus BAKER and Mariah FULLER BAKER. He was a farmer, miller, and mechanic. He married(1) Margaret WILKINS on Jul 28, 1846 in Madison Co., TN. They had 7 children. On the 1910 census he is marked as having served in the Confederate Army, though his service record has not been found.

Margaret died in 1900. William married(2) Annie E. HALEY BAKER, the widow of his nephew George W. BAKER, on Jun 16, 1910 in Madison Co., TN. William died three years later at the age of 87.
