Betty Louise Alexander, 75, of Austin, Texas, died Saturday, May 22, 2010.
Born March 14, 1935, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Hedrick Allison and Gladys (Wagoner) Wiley.
Survivors include her brother, Hedrick Allison (wife Sharon) Wiley Jr.; daughters, Celeste Alexander and Angela Alexander; along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many good friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nina (and her husband, Lee) Gravely; and her brother, Jerry Wiley.
Mrs. Alexander worked her whole life for public education in schools as a teacher, counselor and school psychologist.
She was an active volunteer in many charitable organizations with much of her time and heart poured into her church.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on June 19 at Central Christian Church, 1110 Guadalupe St. in Austin, Texas.
