Obituary [Pueblo Star Journal, Wednesday, September 3, 1980]
Mary S. Baker, late of 2515 Pitman, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 1980, at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Survived by son, B. Ted Baker of Pueblo; two granddaughters, Mrs. Carolee Studen and Mrs. Suzanne Richardson, both of Pueblo, and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pueblo, where she served as church secretary for many years and a member of the Win One Club of the church. She belonged to the OES No. 7 and White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mrs. Baker was born Feb. 18, 1896, in Indianapolis, Ind. and had been a resident of Pueblo since 1906. Privated memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church building fund in memory of Mrs. Baker.
