Jean Baker-Smith, 72, entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2015 at the Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1942 in Baltimore MD to the late Robert R Lilley & Namoi R Lilley (Eason). Jean worked in Property Management for PMI.
On May 21, 1994, Jean married the love of her life, Randall Smith. They spent 20 wonderful years together before her passing.
Jean loved to roller-skate. She and Randy skated competitively in competitions in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. She also enjoyed crocheting. She made hats and prayer shawls for her church. Jean collected angels.
Her faith was very important to her. Jean was a longtime member of Calvary UM Church in Harrisburg. She served her community by working in the Church's food bank.
In addition to her parents Jean is also proceeded in death by her brother Robert Lilley Jr.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband Randy Smith, her 2 sons: Randy Baker & wife Marylisa and Alan Baker & wife Holly; her brother David Lilley; 5 grandchildren: Alex, Kathleen, Sarah, Katie & Zackari Baker and her great-grandson Haze Singh.
Funeral Service for Jean will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Calvary UM Church, 4700 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109 at 12pm. A viewing will be held from 10-12pm. Rev. Dr. Ronald S. Parks will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jean's name to the Cavalry Cupboard, c/o Calvary UM Church.
