Charles Robert Anderson, Sr., died January 31, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Washington, DC, son of the late Walter Fox and Dorothy Mae Welch Anderson, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne and a member of Faith Temple. Mr. Anderson was former employee of Fluor Daniel and American Equipment. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl D. Hutnick of the home; two daughters, Terri Carter of Cape Town, South Africa and Martha J. Kraeski of Savannah GA; three sons, Charles R. Anderson, Jr. of West Virginia; Paul Edward Anderson of Ohio; and Ron A. Krueger of London, Ontario, Canada; two sisters, Pat Schell of California and Mary Virginia of Wisconsin; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Anderson was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Pyle. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Temple conducted by Rev. Raymond D. Burrows and Rev. Donnie O'Shields. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Temple.
