Birth: May 1, 1879
Death: unknown

I found a Lander Abbs, born in 1880, Lived in Grapeland, Houston County, Texas 1920 Census. Living with him was listed a son, Merchant b. 1902. Lander showed to be widowed.
Age; 40. Merchant is 18.

I also found a 1910 Census of Mose Craig, and Rosetta Craig,
in Houston County, Texas. On this census they show to have a daughter Nanny Craig Abbs, age 25, b. 1885, with a son, Merchant Abbs, age 9 living in their household. Nanny Craig Abbs, is shown to be widowed in 1910.

I believe Nanny Craig was married to Philander Hill and has a son Murchant.
It does not say where she is or where she was buried.

Philander was in WWI.

We cannot find where Philander Abbs served in WWI, only where he registered for the Draft when he was 40 years old.
