Collins, Esther G. 93, of Pentwater, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. She was born Aug. 2, 1912 in Minot, N.D. the daughter of Alanson and Grace (Puterbaugh) Parks. She married Daniel Collins, who preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Collins came to Scottville from North Dakota at the age of 4. She lived there until her marriage in 1933 when she moved to Benton Harbor. She lived in Pentwater from 1957 to 2004 when she entered the Medical Care Facility. She is survived by her son, Mike (Duella) Collins of Alabama; granddaughters, Dottie Gatica of Crystal Valley, Brenda Salazar of Hart and Emily Cram of Rothbury; grandsons, John (Joann) Bromley of Shelby, and Rudy Bromley of Tennessee; great-granddaughter, Deldeayne (James) Merrill of Shelby and many other great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Parks and sisters, Amy, Viola and Merle Parks.Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.
