Earl M. Behanna, 84 of Zephyrhills, passed away February 28, 2013. Earl is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Aletha Hixenbaugh Behanna of Donora, PA and William and Mary Hawk of Fairhope, PA; parents, Noah and Bessie Behanna of Greensburg, PA; sister, Jean A. and Martin Nolan of Bennettsville, SC. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; daughters, Susan(Brian)Robinson, Karen(James)Sloan and Nancy(Stephen)Sadowski; grandchildren, James Sloan and Kristy Sloan, and great-grandchildren, James Sloan and Madison Sloan; niece, Kathleen(David)Avery; nephew, Michael Nolan, as well as other nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Good Sam RV; Union Halls Local 79 Tampa FL, Local 30 Jeannette, PA, Local 249 Pittsburg, PA. He worked for Schreiber Trucking and Carolina Freight. Earl was a volunteer fireman in Pennsylvania for 25 years, he worked with junior fireman and enjoyed it very much. He liked boating, camping and golf. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home (www.sunset-fh.com), following a Chapel service at 2:15 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
