July 28, 1994 - May 21, 2014

Our beautiful Cheyanne was the daughter of Fred Bryan Black of Salem, OR, and Yvette Speedis Black of Dallesport, WA. She was the sister of Tori Lyne Black of Dallesport, WA.
Cheyanne was an enrolled member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation and affiliated with the Yakima Nation and Lakota Nation as well.
Her hobbies included cosmetology, dancing, shopping, and world traveling.
Cheyanne’s great grandparents were Flora Waterman Evans and Laskey George Evans of AZ, Alfred and Hazel Taylor of Portland, OR, Richard and Faye Black of Vancouver, WA.
Her grandparents are Lawrence and Lucille Howell of The Dalles, OR, and Ron (Papa) and Terry (Nannee) Black of Wishram, WA.
Cheyanne is survived by aunts and uncles: Libby and Jason Fullmer (AZ); Margarito and Erin Hernandez (AZ); Anna and Gabriel Jackson (AZ); Rick and Colby of Vancouver, WA; Taylor Black and Caron Osbourne of Wishram, WA; Maureen (Rinni) and Uncle Rich Thiel of Wishram, WA; Ronni (Rouster) Black; and numerous cousins, nephews and neices.
Services were held May 21st in Salem, OR; May 24th in Water Front, Salem, OR; May 25th at the Lyle Longhouse in Wasington.
The family would like to say “thank you” for everyone’s support in our time of sorrow.

PORTLAND – A 19-year-old woman was killed in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 205 early Wednesday morning, police said.
The victim was later identified as Cheyanne Lyne Black, of Salem.
At approximately 6:48 a.m., Black's vehicle spun a 180, ran off the road on the southbound side of I-205 and hit a tree, according to Oregon State Police.
Investigators said Black was the was the only person inside the Honda Civic when it crashed.
The crash blocked traffic near the Gladstone and Park Place interchanges during the morning commute.
Anyone who was with the victim during the night prior to the crash or who witnessed the crash was asked to call the OSP Northern Command Center at 1-800-452-7888.
