Ole Leno Anselmi
Ole Leno Anselmi, 87, of Rock Springs, died yesterday at the Sage View care Center following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Rock Springs, the son of the late Olivo and Rose Dallarosa Anselmi.
He attended schools in Rock Springs where he graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1933.
He married Ruby Genetti in 1938 at Saint Vibiana Cathedral in Los Angeles.
He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Knight so Columbus and the Catholic Golden Age.
Survivors include his wife, two sons; Robert Anselmi of Houston and David Anselmi and wife Betty of Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Flore Anselmi of Cortez, Colo. and Angelo Anselmi and wife, Irma, of Rock Springs, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John, and two sisters, Josephine and Mary.
A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Vase Funeral Chapel.
Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph's cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made to the Priests Retirement Fund, Box 426, Cheyenne, 82003 or the charity of your choice.
