Harwood William Johnson 79, of Lowell, died Saturday in Bates Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 18, 1904 in Richmond Missouri.
Mr. Johnson was a member of the Assembly Of God in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent most of his life in Kansas City before retiring from farming and moving to this area in 1972. He belonged to the Missouri Labor Union.
He was proceeded in death by a daughter Mary H. White. And a brother, Noble Johnson.
Survivors include his wife Winnie Johnson :
two Daughters, Mary Foster of Kansas City, Missouri. and Mildred Jones of Rogers. A brother Allen Johnson of Kansas City . Two sisters Bessie Perry of Lathrop, Missouri. and Pauline McAbel of Los Angeles Calif. 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Callison- McKinney Funeral Chapel, Bentonville by the Revs. Arthur Eggers ( whom was the pastor that married Harwood and Winnie January 16, 1960) and Sammuel Adocck. Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.mp. today at the funeral home.
