In a fire which destroyed the home of Plummer Black, near Bessemer this morning, George, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Black was burned to death. The child was inside the building when it caught fire and the parents believed that the boy had come out of the building when they left. After the blaze had died down it was discovered that one of the members of the family was missing, and search in the ruins revealed the body of the little boy. It was badly charred and burned. The house was burned to the ground and everything in it was lost. Funeral services over the remains of the child will be held on Tuesday morning at the home of Lee Houlette. The Black residence was located near the Golden Dale Creamery.
